How do credits work?

We may give you credits that you can use to purchase any of our fixed-fee legal services and help you save on your business legals. This makes it easy to take advantage of your membership benefits and access quality legal advice without breaking your budget!

When will I receive credits?

As a Sprintlaw Plus Member, you'll receive AUD$250 of credits (or £125 if you're a UK member) every quarter which you can use towards any of our legal services, and are redeemable before the end of that quarter.

For example, if an Australian Plus Member signed up on 1 September 2024, $250 of credits will be distributed to them every 3 months on the following dates:

  • Q1 - 1 September 2024 (to be used by 1 December 2024)
  • Q2 - 1 December 2024 (to be used by 1 March 2025)
  • Q3 - 1 March 2025 (to be used by 1 June 2025)
  • Q4 - 1 June 2025 (to be used by 1 September 2025)

You may also receive credits as part of one-off promotions, or as an alternative to a refund for a fixed-fee service you've already purchased.

We'll notify you when new credits have been issued to your account, and will send you reminder before they expire.

Unused credits will expire at midnight UTC on their expiry date.

How can I use my credits?

To use your credits, you can either:

  1. Self-Service Quotes: Generate a quote by using the ‘Browse’ feature and add the services you need to your quote. You can learn how to create a self-service quote here.
  2. Request a Quote: Alternatively, if you require something specific, you can chat with our team by booking a call with a lawyer or submitting an enquiry, and we'll generate a quote for you.

Any available credits will be automatically applied to your quote, so there’s nothing extra you need to do to ensure they’re used!

What can I spend my credits on?

Your credits can be used on any of our legal services, including contract drafting and reviews.

Please note that credits cannot be used to pay for government or third party fees (such as government fees for trade mark applications), and will not offset any GST or VAT paid to us.
