What company name options can I choose?

You can choose a company name with a permitted suffix such as Pty Ltd, or choose to use the company's ACN as the company name. If you choose a name, you will need to check that it is available or provide the required details where the name matches an existing registered business name.

Keep in mind that if you decide to change your company name later, ASIC charges a fee to process the change and you'll need to complete additional paperwork. For this reason, we recommend carefully checking your proposed company name and making sure you're happy with it before submitting your registration.
